With the able assistance of my graduate assistant Dr. Cary Isley, we have migrated the entire run of the Online Journal of Rural Nursing and Health Care to a new publishing platform. The software is called Open Journal Systems (OJS). OJS is open source software developed and maintained by the Public Knowledge Project at Simon Fraser University. We feel that this software gives the Journal a much more professional appearance. The software will also provide a context for managing submissions and the editing process. As always, we value your inputs. If you have ideas for approving the appearance of the Journal, please feel free to email me at smaccall@bama.ua.edu.
